small Upward offers an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for kindergarten through sixth grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. Print the registration form.

Parents my drop off their form and registration fee at the church office or dropbox anytime between 8am and 9pm, Monday - Saturday
Registration is $70 per child until October 31. If your registration is submitted after October 31 add $25 to the registration fee. The deadline for registration is November 30.
Everyone MUST attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading sign-up.
They will take place at Pickerington Church of the Nazarene as follows:
Thursday, November 1

  • Between 5pm and 8pm - Kindergarten - 2nd graders
  • Between 7:30pm and 9pm - 3rd - 6th graders

    • Saturday, November 3
  • Between 9am and 10am Kindergarten - 2nd graders
  • Between 10am and 11am 3rd - 6th graders

    • League Schedule:

    Practices Begin - Monday, December 3, 2007
    First Game - Saturday, January 5, 2008
    Awards Celebration - To be determined

  • Practice and play a game once each week
  • Get equal playing time every week
  • Learn new drills to improve your basketball skills
  • Receive special recognition awards every game
    • You will get a basketball t-shirt, jersey, and an Upward basketball car magnet

    Upward Cheerleading

    cheerleading At Upward Cheerleading you and your friends will:

  • Practice and cheer for a game once each week
  • Get equal cheering time each game
  • Learn new drills to improve your cheerleading skills
  • Receive special recognition awards every game
    • You will get a cheerleading uniform, megaphone, pom-poms, and an Upward cheerleading car magnet.
